Before I was a therapist I was a professional musician, songwriter, recording artist and music promoter.
I have a long history in the creative and performing arts.
Before that, I was a lecturer at the University of Liverpool and coached social entrepreneurs as a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
I’ve always loved working with people and have a passion for making change. I’ve had my own struggles with traumatic events too so it was a natural step to train as a therapist myself.
I train and coach fellow therapists and coaches from across the world on how to create lasting change. I have given talks on the topic to hundreds of therapists. My book ‘How To Remove Trauma Response’ is 5 star rated on Amazon. I am the presenter of the podcast A Slice Of Therapy.
I have provided psychotherapy, coaching and psychological training to organisations such as the UK Home Office, Lush Cosmetics, Riverside Housing Association and Liverpool John Moores University.
I am a qualified psychotherapist and experienced coach. Although living in Liverpool, I work online and my clients live all over the UK and beyond.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
